1-on-1 Fashion Styling Workshop

•    The roles and responsibilities of a stylist
•    Tools of the trade
•    How to build a network within the fashion community
•    What goes into a fashion stylist’s kit?
•    Portfolio critique review: What to add/delete (working stylist only)
•    Developing a professional, marketable portfolio | Creating the right comp cards for your market
•    Securing an agent to represent you | Developing a resume
•    The differences between styling for editorial, advertising, commercials, music videos and celebrities
•    Rules for success | Working with celebrities
•    The steps of a job: negotiating, conceptualizing, pulling, prepping, working on set, dealing with the talent, wrapping and sending returns

You’ll receive a certificate upon successful completion of 6 or more sessions. Stylists are required to bring portfolio (if available), live model (upon request) for conceptualization lab sessions, a notebook, and 4 current issues of fashion publications. (Sessions are 90 minutes with a 3-session minimum. Cost: $95 per session.)

Mondays, 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesdays, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturdays, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
