Cheryl Ann Wadlington majored in Advertising and Communications at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Fashion Merchandising at Bauder Fashion College in Atlanta, Ga. A national premiere fashion and beauty journalist, she is a global change agent and leading consultant in the field of personal growth.
She’s an accomplished writer, television personality and sought-after motivational speaker, who has reached millions of people with her advice and perspective through media outlets as Vogue, Elle, Self, Life & Style, Lucky, C-Span, NBC’s iVillage Live, Glo.com, and NPR. She’s the author of the critically acclaimed, “The DivaGirl’s Guide to Style and Self-Respect.”
Wadlington served as a spokeswoman for Proctor & Gamble on its hair and skin care lines, and she was a national publicity director for Ambi products. An accredited member of the press corps for New York City’s annual Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, she’s featured in “The Tents,” a 2011 documentary chronicling the ready-to-wear collections and some of fashion’s biggest names.
Wadlington founded Evoluer Image Consultants. For her clients at Evoluer Image Consultants, she assembled an all-star glam squad who have worked with the likes of Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige.
She taught fashion journalism at Temple University, where she arranged internship opportunities for her students at some the most prestigious fashion houses and publications in the world such as Gucci, BCBG Max Azria and In Style magazine. She also founded the nonprofit organization, The Evoluer House, which has graduated more than 2,000 girls in underserved communities from its highly successful empowerment programs.
With countless recognition for her contributions to the fashion industry and youth development, Wadlington was one of 10 women in the nation selected by the highest levels of U.S. government as a White House “Champion of Change” leader. She was also among the 10 women in the nation selected by the world's No. 1 beauty brand L'Oréal Paris, as a 2020 Women of Worth, which honors extraordinary women who selflessly give back to their communities.
